Clothing haul!

Ah, I haven't blogged in forever. I'm so sorry!
But yesterday was my last day of school! In a backwards fashion I went shopping yesterday. Usually I go shopping before school, or at least whenever there is school afterwards for my to shop, but my sister came home and we always go shopping with her so I guess this is a summer haul.
First up we went to Ross and I found a few really cute things.
I first found a pair of white shorts, but I already wore them and they are in the wash.
The next thing, the picture does it absolutely no justice. It's pretty much one of those sheer tanktops, but this one is navy blue with white polka dots. It has a collar, buttons all the way down, and it ties at the bottom.
When we were at Ross, my mom actually saw these shorts and made me try it on. It looks a little bit crazy, but this shirt would be a statement piece. It's a zebra racerback with ruffles and black lace. It's a bit crazy for me, but it's cute.
The last thing I picked up at Ross where these white sandals, which my sister actually also got. Call me crazy, but I don't have any sandals, at all, excluding flip-flops. These are really cute and extremely comfortable.
Then we went to the mall and we went to Burlington Coat Factory. I feel like it's not as well known as Ross or TJMaxx but it's the same principle. Discounted clothing.
The first shirt is very summery. The stripes are more coral in person, but I think it's very flattering. The vertical strips down the sides break up the normally widening horizontal stripes.
This next shirt is very lazy, casual, and tent-like. When I tried it on, my sister hated it, but it was only $4 and perfect for this lazy summer days. It's just sheer, white, lacy on the top, and with a high-low hemline.
The last thing I picked up at Burlington Coat Factory was something I've been looking for for a long time. If you watch Youtube beauty videos you probably have seen the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac in bright colors. It's adorable but I do not have the money to buy one, so I was looking for a cute bright colored-bag that was big enough to carry the basics and cross-body. I wanted it for summer when hanging out with friends, because I remember last summer, I ended up leaving my purse in a store and that is just no fun.
My sister absolutely loves layering tank tops and we went into every store in the mall looking for some bright tank tops that were lacy. My personal favorite tank tops are from Charlotte Russe so when I saw this bright light green and teal in my size it was pretty exciting. They were on sale for $5.
The last store at the mall was Rack Room Shoes where I picked up another pair of sandals from the brand xappeal. These are silver with flowers and really cute. They also had them in gold and black. I ended up getting an entire size smaller than usual, because they didn't have half sizes and the eight was just way too big.

Then we went to Kohl's and I picked up three tops. The first one is a very casual teal short with yellow, purple, and navy stripes. This runs small, so try on a size larger.

This next shirt is showing up a little bit mint, but it is actually a true lime green. It is just a big "tent" shirt with a cinched bottom. It has little holes throughout it. I am planning on wearing this with a bright colored tank top (like the bright teal) under this shirt.

The last thing is one of my favorites. This piece can easily transition from summer to winter. It's pink with purple stripes, outlined in hot pink. It has the "butterfly" sleeves.
So that's my clothing haul! I hope you enjoyed. (:

Quick Mini Haul and Preview Tutorial

Now this is not a haul with a bunch of stuff I do not need. I am trying out for drill team and needed a few things. I am also on thesdearch for Wet 'n' Wild's Mega Lash mascara (because it's waterproof and I don't have a waterpoof mascara) and then I will be all set. Neither my nearest Target, nor my nearest Wal-Mart had it.

The first two things I picked up are extremely boring. A black shirt and pants. Both from the brand BCG at Academy. We are required to wear all black on the last day of tryouts so that's what I picked up.

Also, throughout the rest of the tryout process, we are not allowed to wear Soffe's unless we have leggings underneath. I picked up this pair from Kohl's. They are capri black leggings.
(excuse the rotated picture, does anybody know how to fix it when it's already on Blogger?)

The last ting I picked up with this Elf Brightening Eye Quad in Drama. I don't have any smokey eye shadows and we are required to wear competition makeup the last day of tryouts. I picked up this one because it was cheap.

I was messing around with my "competition" makeup, and came up with a "cute" look. I will be trying it out, again, next weekend to make sure i have it perfect, and will be doing a tutorial. Here is a quick preview.

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Haul

Yep. I broke my Project Pan. I'll save the excuses and just get unto the haul.
The first thing I picked up were these shoes from American Eagle by Payless. I also had a 20% off coupon. Their adorable jean colored peep-toe shoes with ruffles and a little bit of bling.

This shirt I got from Ross (one of my favorite places to shop). It's an XL when I normally wear a M, but it's just so big and flowy, it's adorable. The lace looks gorgeous when you wear it over bright tank top.

This picture does this article of clothing no Justice, but it's an adorable navy blue light jacket-type-thing that I found at Kohls.

For spring time I needed a new pair of shorts, and these are the brand Levi's also from Kohls. I like the distressing and their not TOO short.

Then I just got a pair of yoga pants because they were on sale for like $12.

Then I just got two pairs of Soffe's, one in "Vivid Blue", and then just a plain black pair.
At Ulta I got two nail polishes from Sally Hansen. They are the Extreme Wear line, which I am super impressed with. The first color is Blue Me Away!. It's pretty similar to Slapper, based on online swatches, from Butter London which I love.

This one is on my nails right now, the color Coral Reef. It's been on for almost a week, with a cheap base coat, and there is only little wear. It's a bright coral, that looks different in different lighting. Sometimes it looks really orange, others really pink.

I have the Wet and Wild Wild Shine nail polish in Black Creme and was super impressed so I just picked up French White Creme.

I don't have a liquid liner, so I tried this one by NYX. It was only $4.50 and it is in the color Extreme Black. It's super great, lasts a long time, but still washes off easily.

Then I got a Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze. It doesn't last all day on me as eyeshadow, and it creases in a few hours, completely fading by the end of the school day.,, but I love it as a cream eyeliner.
Then I got these shadows from Covergirl in Crystal Waters. The white isn't pigmented at all, and the green isn't that pigmented, but workable. The blues are gorgeous.
I also got this Rimmel Natural Bronzer in Sun Light. It is the perfect bronzer for fair skin. It swatches kinda orange, but when it's on your skin it's absolutely gorgeous. It has the faintest amount of shimmer that I love, because it gives you a glow, but actual shimmer isn't detectable.

The last thing I got was the Covergirl Contouring Trio in Purely Plum. The middle pink is a go The darker one is a little hard for me to use, but it is nicely pigmented.Gorgeous every day glow, and the light peachy-pink is a really pretty highlighter.

I hope you all enjoyed.

Mini Haul: Ulta Rewards

Hey lovelies! Long time no blog! Sorry, I've been really busy!
Anyways, I got my Ulta Reqards Newsletter a while ago, and just now was able to go. I was a level 4, but my Ulta didn't have any of the level 4 (or 3) things I wanted. I know you used to be able to get things to add up to 4 (like 1 two and 2 1's) so I was going to do that, but I wasmy first cashier said we couldn't. Then we just went ahead and got this item, and then the lady stratched out the 4 on the coupon and wrote two. I didn't realize it until we got in the car, so now I'm not sure if I still have rewards or not...
Either way, here is the Revlon Colorstay 16 Hour Eyeshadow Quad in Brazen, whoo that's a mouthful. The colors are out-of-the-ordinary neutrals, that look like they will really bring out blue eyes.  It has a gorgeous shimmery yellow higlight, a peachy-orange, a dark bronze, and a dark brown. I really like the fact that these aren't overly shimmery, but still capture the bronzey shades. I only swatched them, and they were a bit dry, but all of them but the highlight have a decent amount of pigment. I will say, I like this packaging a lot better than the old Revlon Colorstay eyeshadow packaging. It also has a look-example on the back.

That's it!
I'll see you guys soon!

Rue 21, Forever 21, Wal-Mart, and Big Lots haul!

Hey guys! I truly have a shopping addiction. I have decided to put myself on a project pan after I looked at how much cash I had left...My next post will be about my own personal rules for project pan which starts right..Now.

So I went to Rue 21, and I picked up a perfume. Then I got a coupon, and went again today and picked up two more and a wallet. The perfumes are only $10 and really great quality. Here they are!

The first one is Rue 21 Black. It smells absolutely amazing. Since, like most people, I am terrible at describing scents I looked it up. Fragrantica says, " Rue21 Twentyone Black is a fragrance for the young and rebellious girls, launched in summer 2010. It opens with fresh notes of orange, dewy green tones and pineapple. The heart features lily of the valley and orange blossom, layered with creamy coconut, woody notes, musk and amber."
I mainly get the coconut and some orange and pineapple. To me, it smells really fruity and fresh. The kind of perfume I would wear everyday. Although it is young, it isn't "immature."

The next one is Tarea. Let me just start with the bottle. It is super cute. I wouldn't mind having it on my vanity...if I didn't store my perfumes away from sunlight in a drawer of course. Fragrantica says: "The composition of floral – fruity aromas opens with notes of pomegranate, apple and pear. The heart is floral thanks to jasmine and peony, laid on the warm base of amber and blonde woods."
My unsophisticated nose just senses the floral sweet sent. I do love it though.

The last perfume I picked up is an actual Eau De Parfum, where as the other didn't mention whether they were Eau De Toilette or whatever else, but this one is stronger. Although I am no fan of the bottle, others might really enjoy it. Runway 21 is a limited edition perfume so I recommend checking it out. I couldn't find any notes for it, but the lady said it was strawberries and something else. It's a little deeper than the other scents. So imagine a musky strawberry...kinda.

The last thing I picked up at Rue 21 was this amazing wallet. It was on sale, and then on the 50% off rack. It was only $3 and super cute! I love it and is going to replace my old Claire's wallet that is falling apart.

Then I went to Wal-Mart and I was going to pick up the CG Aqua Smoothers compact but they only had the tan/dark shades so I went ahead and picked up the Dream Smooth Mousse foundation. It was really hard to tell what shade I was. Somebody opened one of the lightest foundations, and I swatched it (shhh) and it looked a lot darker in the packaging then it did swatched so I picked up Classic Ivory. I'm super pale, so I hope it works! It was $8.

So I have been using the Maybelline One By One Mascara, and I don't really like it. I love the brush, but the formula doesn't do much for my very small and sparse lashes. I saw the Loreal Voluminous Million Lashes, and the brush looked similar so I picked it up. It was a little pricy for drugstore mascaras, at $7 but it was the same as the One by One. I won't open it yet, until my One by One is unusable, but I wanted it for when that does happen.

I was running out of my shampoo and conditioner so I got the Garnier Fructis Daily Care. I haven't found a shampoo that I love. My hair isn't died, I don't have curly hair, it's already soft, and I just don't need any of those special benefits. I do wash my hair everyday, because otherwise it's super oily. My mom saw this and handed it to me. I don't know how good it will be, but I will let you know! They were each $3.

Big Lots is a discounted store for...well basically everything. Food, furniture, wrapping paper, nail polish, you name it. I bought this ELF 32 Eye Color Everyday Eye Edition for $4.50. The one on the website is the bright version, but you may be able to find this one at your Target. I've been trying them out and I really like it. Some of the shades have a lot of pigment (others have little to no pigment), and I love the fact that there are two rows of neutral shades, one of smokier shades, and one of colors. Some of them are a bit powdery (you can see a few have broken a little bit and I just pressed it down with my finger (the second to last one from the right corner on the bottom row, and the one about it, plus the maroon color.) Overall, they can work, and are super cheap.
Then I picked up these Revlon Colorstay Eyeshadows in Silver Fox. It was $3. I believe it was limited edition..but I'm not sure. The picture isn't very good quality, but the top color is a purple. Then a white, a teal-blue, and a grey. They are quite a bit chalky and have fall out, but I really like the white and the purple is really good as an eyeliner. I have yet to use the grey, but I did use the teal for a pop of color, and it has quite a lot of pigment, I just don't really like the fall out. Blue eyeshadow all over your face isn't cute.

The last thing I picked up, are these earrings from Forever 21. They were $1.50 and so cute. I love the jewelry at Forever 21 and could have bought the whole store...if I had the money.

I hope you enjoyed this haul! Please excuse the poor quality as I am using my phone for the pictures. When I do reviews/looks I will use a proper camera, it is just easier to upload from my phone.
